2000 - Florencio SL-2100 joined the Legion in 2000 and the Pacific Outpost was born. Originally part of the Western Division (covering the states of Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, and Oregon) the increase in the number of troopers in Hawaii caused the Pacific Outpost to be created to cover only the state of Hawaii.

2005 - A contingent of eight troopers from Hawaii journeyed to Indianapolis, Indiana to attend the science-fiction convention, Star Wars: Celebration III.
2006 - The current logo of the Pacific Outpost was designed during the 2006 annual meeting. The Pacific Outpost decided to create a new logo that would be a cooperative effort of all its troopers and would highlight their special geography and pay homage to the 501st legion. "All members submitted designs and we were able to combine several of the ideas into one awesome logo," said John TK-0726. "We retained the Hawaiian Islands from our previous logo but changed everything else. Most prominently featured on our logo is a large surfboard with the paint scheme of a 501st Legion clone trooper with 501 overlaid on the board. We then placed the surfboard over a blue Imperial cog to show our cohesiveness with the Legion." Scott TI-1942 is the illustrator who did the final artwork that brought all the ideas to life.
In 2006 the Legion gained its first trooper from the island of Guam, Armando TK-4110, and the Pacific Outpost welcomed him amongst the ranks.

In 2007 the Legion gained its first trooper from the island nation of Tahiti, Vetea TK-5030 the Tahitiantrooper, and the Pacific Outpost welcomed him amongst the ranks.
On May 25, 2007, at Star Wars Celebration IV in Los Angeles, California, the Pacific Outpost, with the assistance of the League of Extraordinary Troopers, inducted Bonnie Burton, LucasFilm Content Developer, as an Honorary Member of the 501st Legion.
